This sacred image is an extremely rare original print from 1921, designed by F. Fontana and printed by A. Brangi in Palermo.
Maria SS. Odigistria has been the patron saint of Piana degli Albanesi since its foundation.
The sacred image faithfully reproduces the Altar Machine found in the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Odigistria in Piana degli Albanesi. The central niche, protected by two massive perforated doors, houses the sacred image that, according to popular tradition, was brought to Sicily by the Albanians. A recent restoration has revealed that this image is more recent.
Owning this rarity is a great privilege for the faithful and collectors because it is an ancient image printed 100 years ago and still in mint condition. Availability is extremely limited.
Two other versions of this sacred image exist, also considered rarities: a postal card (with double-sided printing) and a print in purple ink.

By purchasing this volume you will be making a concrete contribution to the Museum of the Collegio of Maria di Piana degli Albanesi.
