This sacred image is a very rare original print from 1921, made from a design by F. Fontana and printed by A. Brangi in Palermo.
 Maria SS. Odigitria is the Patroness of Piana degli Albanesi, since its foundation.
 The sacred image faithfully reproduces the Altar Machine found in the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Odigitria in Piana degli Albanesi. In the central niche, protected by two massive perforated doors, the sacred image is preserved which in popular tradition was the one brought to Sicily by the Albanians. A recent restoration revealed that this image is more recent.
 Owning this rarity is a great privilege for the faithful and collectors because it is an ancient image printed 100 years ago and still in pristine condition. Availability is very minimal.
 There are two other versions of this sacred image, also considered rarity: a postal card (with two-sided printing) and a purple ink print.
