This collectible doll wears the Traditional Costume of Piana degli Albanesi, handcrafted entirely by a refined local artisan in the 1970s.

As the artisan stopped making dolls roughly 40 years ago, this piece is a true rarity—especially given its mint, like-new condition. Every element of both the doll and the costume is completely original to the era.

, manufactured by the prestigious brand Furga, features fully functional moving parts, including eyes that open and close when tilted. Every aspect of the costume is impeccably preserved in both condition and vibrant color. All fabric cuts, stitching, and imitation gold embellishments were crafted by hand with meticulous attention to detail.

The outfit faithfully reproduces the traditional ceremonial costume known as the Gellona, featuring a silk skirt adorned with one to three bobbin lace bands. Made of celluloid, the 1970s doll remains in flawless condition throughout.

This collectible piece is a unique, unmissable addition to any home or fine collection. It comes complete with a certificate guaranteeing its originality and uniqueness.
