Federica Cuccia, originally from Piana degli Albanesi, is a brilliant student of the "anthropology of cultural and environmental heritage" degree course at the "languages for territorial tourism development" faculty in Turin. In her native Piana degli Albanesi, Federica, in addition to her deep passion for singing, has always stood out for her sensitivity towards the Arbëreshë cultural identity, which characterizes the Albanian-speaking communities in Italy. With the University of Turin he carried out field research aimed at all those who live or are originally from Piana Degli Albanesi. The objective of the research is to analyze the evolution of the relationship between the inhabitants of Piana (current and past) and bilingualism, as well as the degree of involvement and participation, especially of the new generations, in the promotion of the Arbëreshë heritage within and outside the community.
