The Cathedral of San Demetrio is the treasure trove of Pietro Novelli's apse.

 

The Collegio di Maria Museum, not open to the public, displays the most important corpus of Byzantine rite vestments and precious Byzantine icons and 17th-century paintings.

The Sanctuary of the Madonna Odigitria is the only church in Piana degli Albanesi that retains its original layout, respecting Pietro Novelli's original design. The Sacred Image of the Madonna Hodegetria is preserved here, set in an imposing altarpiece. Important paintings are housed here, including "The Souls in Purgatory" by Pietro Petta, one of the leading exponents of Novelli's school.

 

The Church of San Giorgio houses precious paintings by Novelli and the equestrian statue of Saint George by Bagnasco.

 

Sheshi is an open-air museum where you can admire murals by international artists whose works have interpreted our cultural identity.
