You are invited to participate in one of the most important events of the liturgical calendar, the Theophany with the suggestive blessing of the waters with the flight of the Dove.

The Vespers Office will be celebrated at 6.00 pm on January 5th at the Cathedral of San Demetrio.
The Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Sunday 6 January at 07.30 in the Cathedral.
At 10.30 in the Cathedral the Divine Pontifical Liturgy will be celebrated at the end of which in procession the Eparch, the concelebrants and the faithful will move towards the monumental fountain of the "Tre Cannoli" in Piazza V. Emanuele. Here the Eparch will proceed to the "Great Blessing of the Waters" which will end with the flight of a white dove that symbolizes the Holy Spirit and which will descend from heaven until it alights on the waters.
The liturgical day will end at 6.00 pm with the celebration of the Vespers Office at the Cathedral of San Demetrio.
