This permanent exhibition of contemporary sacred icons and Antiminsion is housed in a hall of the Church of Saint George the Great Martyr.

All the icons and Antiminsion in this exhibition were collected over more than fifty years of priesthood by Papas Elefterio Schiadà, who subsequently donated the collection to the parish of Saint George.

The icons represent various contemporary schools of painting. Some were created by iconographers from Piana degli Albanesi, while others were written by monks from Mount Athos—making this an intriguing collection to explore
