🇬🇧 This exclusive event, with limited seating, has been created to celebrate Holy Week in Piana degli Albanesi.


The meeting point is the Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Odigitria in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. The private tour will begin at 4:00 p.m. and last approximately 90 minutes.


With this exclusive tour, you will visit behind closed doors:

  • The Sanctuary of Maria Santissima Odigitria, the only church designed by Pietro Novelli. The sacred image of the Madonna Odigitria is preserved here. According to popular tradition, it was the icon brought from the founders' homeland in the 15th century, but it hides a wonderful history that you will discover during the visit.

  • The Museum of the Collegio di Maria, with Byzantine rite vestments and precious 17th-century icons. This museum is a living testimony to Arbëreshë history and, better than any other place, represents the unique cultural identity of Piana degli Albanesi.
