About the event
🇬🇧 On the occasion of Holy Week in Piana degli Albanesi, this exclusive event with limited places was created. The meeting point is in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele in front of the Sanctuary of Maria SS. Odigitria and the private tour will start at 11.00 and will last approximately 90 minutes. With this tour you will visit the Museum of the Collegio di Maria behind closed doors, which better than any other place represents the unique cultural identity of Piana degli Albanesi. This Museum is not open to the public and is only open on the occasion of visits by authorities. The Museum of the Collegio di Maria houses the most precious collection of sacred vestments of the Byzantine rite, of Byzantine icons of the seventeenth century. and sacred art.
