The traditional costume of Piana degli Albanesi is chosen by brides for their special day, by women wishing to participate in religious celebrations, the Easter Sunday procession, for film shoots, and to attend exclusive events.

The traditional women's costume has several variations, with parts entirely hand-embroidered in gold and complemented by precious jewelry still made by local artisans. This gives women the appearance of being "dressed in the sun."

The traditional costume can be chosen from all existing variations, including the bridal one. It is also possible to request individual parts (skirt, bodice, jewelry, etc.).

Finally, the accessory jewelry (brezi, breastplate, rosary, earrings, rings, etc.) can also be included partially or completely.

A very rare costume is the so-called Gellona, ​​featuring a red silk skirt with entirely embroidered lace bands. Lacework has been lost over the years, and for this reason, today this variation, besides being very elegant, is certainly the rarest.
